The most rewarding part of my role is knowing that we created something that gainfully employs approximately 25 people (at one time when we owned the stores in the western provinces, it was close to 100) and most have families in this community and this is how they are supported.
Teleco™ also supports many great causes here in Thunder Bay and this, too, is very rewarding to give back to the community we were raised and love.
I enjoy, first and foremost, the people I work with and second, the business is in a continuous state of change, so there is something new every day.
In my spare time, I enjoy camp, golf, Arizona, and spending time with my family.

The most rewarding part of my job is hearing feedback in the community about a great customer service experience they had with one of our Teleco™ team members.
It’s these things that makes me proud to be part of an organization where everyone works together to provide the best customer experience and recognizes that it’s the small things that make a difference. Each of us regardless of position depends on each other for our success and ultimately separates us from our competition.
The best thing about working at Teleco™ is the ability to react quickly and implement change if it benefits our clients. We don’t have a lot of red tape and if it’s great that we can organically alter or modify our processes if it’s for the best interest of our customers.
We are in the communication industry which is constantly changing and improving and we need to adapt with it to also improve and be efficient, effective and transparent with the services we provide our customers. I also like the fact that every member of our team is a valued member and not just an employee with an employee number. I know their families and what they like to do in their spare time and at Teleco™ we try to empower a work-life balance approach. Work is important but so is family!
My favourite thing to do in my spare time is spend time with my husband and my two sons at our camp. There’s nothing better than being out there with them fishing, spending quality time with other family members and friends and a nice glass of wine.

Most rewarding part of my job would be applying the knowledge I have learned in this new industry to be able to offer a customer the exact solution they need for their needs. Not only meeting but exceeding their expectations in the process.
I love the family/team atmosphere that comes along with working for Teleco™. It is also great working for a locally owned company that has a positive and recognized track record within our community.
I am an active member in the Hillcity Kinsman men’s service group. We spend time organizing/running fundraisers to contribute the proceeds to our local charities.
I also have a 7 year old son who is the biggest part of my life. Being a father and sharing all the moments that come along with that is something that is extremely valuable to me.
Spending time outdoors (winter or summer) is something I take advantage of whenever possible. One last thing would be that I have a passion for building things. Whenever the opportunity comes about to be involved in a building/construction project I am immediately interested…. And when those projects aren’t there waiting to be done I will normally create a new one 🙂

The most rewarding aspect of my job is interacting with our clients and providing them with solutions to help them grow their business.
What separates TELECO from the competitors? It all starts with our team! TELECO is a great place to work because of our team/ family environment. This is reflected in how we approach and communicate with our clients to ensure total satisfaction.
In the winter you can probably find me at the local outdoor hockey rink and in the summer on the golf course. I enjoy spending as much time as I can outside. I’m a huge Ottawa Senators fan as I grew up in that area. I also enjoy spending time with my fiancé and travelling.

I’m the controller at Teleco™ and the most rewarding part of my job is that there is always a new project or challenge on the go!
I love the atmosphere at Teleco™ – it’s relaxed, our team is like a tight knit family and I look forward to coming to work everyday.
I was born and raised in Thunder Bay. I attended Lakehead University and pursued my Chartered Professional Accountant designation while working for a local accounting firm. I love everything about this city and Teleco™ being local was a huge part of my decision to continue my career here.
Outside of work, I’m wear many hats. I’m a musician at heart and have a growing family. I enjoy spending time in the outdoors in the summer and love to relax on the cold winter days. I also enjoy teaching and coaching so I am an active CPA Mentor who coaches students in achieving their CPA designation.

My role is answering the phone and assisting customers with any concerns they may have.
Work closely with our install team and arrange where they need to be on a daily basis.
