Teleco Welcomes the Axis Experience Vehicle to Thunder Bay, Offering Local Businesses a First-Class Look at the Future of Security Technology
Free public event runs September 8th at Wesco/Anixter, featuring live demonstrations of AI-powered security cameras, access control, and analytics.
THUNDER BAY, ON — Teleco, a Thunder Bay-based Axis Communications Gold Partner, is proud to welcome the Axis Experience Vehicle (AEV) to the city on Tuesday, September 8th, marking the mobile showroom’s first stop in Thunder Bay as part of its cross-Canada tour.
The AEV is a fully outfitted mobile technology center built by Axis Communications, offering live, hands-on demonstrations of the latest advancements in AI-powered security cameras, smart access control, thermal and PPE detection, and intelligent analytics.
The event is free and open to the public, running from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Wesco/Anixter, located at 979 Alloy Drive, Suite 103.
“We’re thrilled that Thunder Bay was chosen as one of the stops on this tour,” said Penny Belluz, President of Teleco. “This is a first-class technical experience, and not one our region gets access to very often. As an Axis Gold Partner, we’re excited to join the Axis team that day and bring our clients through to see what’s possible.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with Axis technology experts, see live demonstrations of equipment used by retailers, municipalities, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites across North America, and explore how modern security systems have evolved into tools that support far more than surveillance alone.
“Whether a business is considering an upgrade, has an older system, or is simply curious about what today’s technology can do, this is a rare chance to see it firsthand rather than just read about it,” Belluz added.
Teleco will be onsite throughout the day and is offering a VIP pass to local businesses, which includes free donuts from Mini Donut Shoppe, a popular Thunder Bay food truck, and entry into a draw for a Blackstone Grill.
