The most rewarding part of my role is knowing that we created something that gainfully employs approximately 25 people (at one time when we owned the stores in the western provinces, it was close to 100) and most have families in this community and this is how they are supported.

Hi from Mohamed! I’m thrilled to be part of the TELECO family. My journey began with a strong foundation in engineering, leading to postgraduate degrees in Supply Chain Management from Seneca College and International Business Management from Confederation College. These experiences have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to excel in my current role.
Thunder Bay holds a special place in my heart, and joining TELECO feels like a perfect fit. I’m already learning so much from this amazing team. In my role, I work behind the scenes handling purchasing, inventory management, and coordinating logistics to ensure smooth operations. As a technician here at Teleco, I get to work with a variety of different clients every day, helping them with anything from administering their voicemail system, to troubleshooting their computer network, to installing a whole new business phone system or implementing a modern Voice Over IP solution.
That variety is what makes working at Teleco so rewarding. I never know what I’m going to be doing next week, but I know it’s going to be something interesting where I’m helping local businesses solve problems to make sure that the technology they rely on runs as smoothly as possible.

Telecommunications technician by trade. I’ve been installing and servicing radio, camera, security and networking equipment for many years. I enjoy learning new skills to expand my capabilities. Being able to bring a variety of knowledge allows me to be flexible and inventive with the solutions I come up with.

My name is Parth Pathak and I have done my Digital Marketing from Confederation College. I came to Canada in 2019 and loved Thunder Bay a lot. I moved to Toronto for a couple of months but did not like it there with all the traffic and chaos. So, I came back to Thunder Bay and started working for Subway.
I have just started working here at Teleco and I already feel at home with the atmosphere. I try to stick to the one rule that I always follow: “Keep the customer happy and satisfied.” I will try that everyday here at the store.
I am more of a nature person so, I usually go sightseeing, hiking, or camping at our beautiful nature places or at conservation areas. I also like to take pictures of nature that goes directly on to my Instagram profile. Along with that, I love travelling and have been to almost all the parts of Canada.
